HEAD IN A BOX is the artist name of Matthias P. Rich

I’m a postgraduate student of the VR/XR Storytelling masters degree at Bristol UWE. I’ve always had a passion for art and creativity, which I’ve expressed through writing, illustration, photography, film and music. My creative journey through the decades of my life has always embraced the affordances of new technologies, in this respect, I feel that my creative tools and I have grown up together.

My primary creative focus is in developing my skills as an immersive storyteller. The tools I use for this are Blender 3D and Unity. For prototyping, I often use Dreams (PS4)  I also use Affinity Photo for texturing and materials, I also use Logic Pro for sound effects and music creation.
